A Vision Born from the Heart of Pharmacy
The Birth of ACMM
In a world where medication plays a pivotal role in healthcare, the need for expertise in Medication Therapy Management (MTM) has never been more crucial. Recognizing this, the American College of Medication Management (ACMM) was founded with a singular vision: to champion the advancement of MTM for licensed pharmacists across the United States.
As a 501(c)(3) non-profit foundation, our mission goes beyond just promoting MTM. We are dedicated to improving patient outcomes by ensuring the safe and effective use of medications. Our approach is holistic, aiming to equip pharmacists with the knowledge and skills they need to excel in their roles.

- Membership: At ACMM, we believe in the power of collaboration. Our membership program is tailored to provide MTM practitioners with a platform to connect, share, and learn from peers who share a passion for medication therapy management.
- Education and Training: Excellence is a continuous journey. We offer preparation and training for the NBMTM certification programs, ensuring our members are always at the forefront of their profession. Our commitment to education doesn’t stop there. We also provide ongoing training and courses to meet NBMTM recertification requirements. Furthermore, we support the creation of publications that empower pharmacists to enhance their management skills.
- Annual Meeting/Seminars/Workshops: Knowledge grows when shared. With this belief, we are working towards hosting an ACMM Annual Meeting. This event will be a melting pot of ideas, with seminars and workshops on MTM-related topics, ensuring our members are always updated with the latest in the field.
- Fundraising and Scholarships: We understand the financial challenges that come with pursuing excellence. That’s why we actively seek donations and grants to fund our programs. But our vision goes beyond just funding our initiatives. We aim to provide scholarships to licensed pharmacists eager to specialize in MTM, ensuring that financial constraints never come in the way of passion.
